One way of knowing more about interesting people around you is to talk with them face to face. This personal encounter is called interviewing.
Listen as your teacher and a classmate carry out the interview below. Find out what the interview is all about and its details.

Donna-Good morning, Mr. Alba. I'm Donna Lopez of Bonifacio Elementary School. I'm Here to interview you.
Mr. Alba-Hello, Donna. I'm glad to meet you. Please sit down.
Donna- Thank you, Dir. Our school paper staff would like to know more about more popular writers. You are one of our favorites.
Mr. Alba- Its nice  being one of your favorite authors.
Donna- we specially love your "Stories for young Kids" which appears regularly in the sunday issue of the local paper. where do your ideas come from?
Mr. Alba- well, I observe closely people and things around us. I also keep watch of interesting happenings and events. of course, I do read various materials.
Donna- do you enjoy your work?
Mr. Alba- very much. I find about people and things by writing about them them.
Donna- was being a writer your ambition hen you were still young?
Mr. Alba- Not really. At one time, I wanted to be singer.
Donna- what other things do you love to do besides writing?
Mr. Alba- I sometimes write lyrics of songs. In other words, I compare songs.
Donna-very interesting, Sir. By the way, some writer put down their ideas immediately on paper or in the computer.
Mr.Alba- Oh no! I prefer to jot down notes first in long hand before I type them. That way, I can make changes in what I write readily.
Donna- one last question, Sir . how can we become good writer like you?
Mr.Alba- That's good question- I suggest that you read a lot and be a keen observer. There is always something to write about anything and everything.
Donna- I guess you have given me all the information I need. Thank you so much for the time.
Mr. Alba- Not at all. It was my pleasure. I enjoyed our short talk.
Donna- Goodbye Sir, and more power to you.
Mr. Alba- Thank you, Donna. bye.
